Syslogd
Handles processing of syslog messages into events.
Enabling Syslogd
Syslogd is disabled by default on Horizon. To enable it, edit the ${OPENNMS_HOME}/etc/service-configuration.xml file by finding the Syslogd service section and setting service enabled="true":
