Requirements

This section describes the requirements to install the OpenNMS Plugin for Grafana.

Runtime requirements

For runtime operations, you need to install and set up either OpenNMS Horizon 31+ or Meridian 2023+. You also need a Grafana instance (version 9.x or newer).

We have tested the plugin with Grafana version 9.0. It may work with older versions, but we have not tested them specifically. We recommend that you use matching versions of the plugin and Grafana (for example, OpenNMS Plugin for Grafana 9.x and Grafana 9.x).

The OpenNMS Grafana Dashboard Report feature requires the Grafana Image Renderer plugin to be installed.

Build requirements

To build the plugin, you must have Node.js installed (version 16.x or newer).

This is required only if you are installing the plugin from source.
