Introduction

The OpenNMS Velocloud Plugin lets you monitor the status, and collect events and performance metrics, of Velocloud entities.

After installing the plugin, you must define the Orchestrator URLs and associated API keys as connections on your OpenNMS Meridian/Horizon instance. After that, you can import Velocloud entities into OpenNMS requisition(s). Services will be bound for gateways, edges, and links. The plugin then start collecting events and associating them with nodes in OpenNMS, as well as collecting performance metrics.
